Never Been Caving

...or done a bit and want to try some more?

Over the years we've been approached by numerous people who come across all enthusiatic about wanting to get involved and "please could someone take them on a trip".  Oh yes, forgot to say we haven't got any kit.

After running around trying to find, beg, steal or borrow enough spare kit to kit out the would be adventures the day arrives for the big trip.

Folk turn up at the right time and the right place (as we've exchanged numerous mails with them). It's all smiles and then down to business. Kit up, bullshit briefing, take down details of last of kin and then launch into The Darkness.

The vast majority of punters have a fantastic time and sit beaming over a pint of frothing ale or dodgy farmhouse, gushing about what a great experience it all is.

A couple of pints later they jump in their car, wave a cheary goodbye and laugh all the way home.  Oh, how they congratulate themselves on getting a free day out, right in the thick of it. Next weekend they plan on going skydiving or maybe deep sea bungee waterskiing. Who knows? Theres bound to be someone out there willing to give them a go.

Sorry - but thats not the way life works. Google yourself a commercial cave guide, find yourself a mate who's already into it or fork out for a Red Letter day experience.
